A graduate of MSU-Bozeman with a Masters of Architecture degree, Alex’s interests throughout school were centered on sustainability, building detailing, and urban agriculture. Mixed with his experience and passion for marketing and educating, Alex has found an excellent fit here at High Plains Architects. His affable personality and ability to facilitate meaningful communication is an asset that adds great value to an office that brings so many people together in pursuit of a healthier world.

Alex was born and raised in central Minnesota. In the woodlands and lakes of the region he developed a strong appreciation for the natural settings in which he was immersed. He fell in love with the west on a family trip. Moving to Montana at the age of eighteen, Alex wanted to study Architecture and its connection to this beautiful place. An avid outdoorsman Alex can be found on the weekends exploring his surroundings through backpacking, snowboarding, and trail running.

A committed bike commuter, Alex has yet to bring his car to the office on a work day. A founding member of the Montana State University Student chapter of the US Green Building Council, Alex Intends to make an impact with the state chapter in the coming years. Currently Alex is in the process of organizing an Acrobatic Yoga community in Billings.
