DescriptionIn the fall of 2011, High Plains Architects worked with the Jefferson Local Development Corporation (JLDC) to conduct a feasibility study for the historic Borden’s Hotel. The study explored possible redevelopment opportunities for a largely vacant, but key commercial downtown building. The implications of redeveloping this building would not only reinvigorate this space but the greater downtown.
HPA set goals with the JLDC to renovate it using certified historic tax credits, into a historic, sustainable mixed-use space. Randy is continuing to work with the JLDC to move forward with developing the property.
