Awards
Everyone likes to be rewarded for a 'job well done!' We're always thrilled to share our excitement and express our appreciation when one of our projects gets noticed amongst our peers. For us, an award is a reminder to always strive to do our best in every project we design. We are particularly proud of the awards we have received for our work in the areas of community involvement, historic rehabilitation, and sustainable design.

Montana BetterBricks Award
2009 BetterBricks Award
First Annual Montana BetterBricks AwardsArchitecture, Randy Hafer of High Plains Architects
When Randy received a call to tell him he was part of the first group of a select few to receive the Montana BetterBricks Award, he knew he was doing something right. It's always an honor to receive an award; it's especially an honor to be recognized by your peers.
Randy traveled to Helena where Governor Schweitzer presented the awards. At the first annual Montana BetterBricks Awards, three outstanding leaders in the green building industry were honored for their efforts by BetterBricks along with NorthWestern Energy and the Montana Electric Cooperative Association (MECA). The event was held in conjunction with the Montana Ambassadors Annual Conference and the keynote speaker was T. Boone Pickens, the oil and gas entrepreneur, who spoke about his plan to reinvest in America and renewable energy.
In 2011, Randy was invited as a past recipient to discuss opportunities for 'old' buildings and present as a panelist on the topic of utilizing tax credits for historic buildings to help fund energy efficiency improvements at the Montana Energy Management Conference.
