This “comb”-style bike rack, unfortunately, is only functionally useful for locking up one bike since one end is against the wall. Also this rack takes up a large footprint, regardless of how it is located.

This rack holds up to eight bikes with two points of contact, and it was approximately the same footprint as the two “comb”-style bike racks.
